Singer Style Steering Wheel for 911 / 912 / 964 / 993 / 914-6 (R / RSR / ST / GT)
This sports steering wheel is a replica in black leather and 380 mm (15"), including a hockey puck horn button (R/RSR/GT style). All mounting hardware is included.
The hockey puck / horn button is a high-quality reproduction made of milled aluminum (not cheap plastic).
Technical Features
- Steering Wheel Ø = 380 mm (15")
- Steering wheel rim Ø = 30 mm (similar thickness to the Momo sports steering wheels, very grippy)
- Steering wheel cup = approx. 80 mm (total depth including adapter = approx. 102 mm)
The total depth of the installed steering wheel is determined by the length of the steering wheel hub (including extension if applicable) and the steering wheel depth including adapter (approx. 102 mm).
Example: Momo hub C0231 (105 mm) + steering wheel depth including adapter (approx. 102 mm) = total depth/length of the installed steering wheel (approx. 207 mm).
Compatibility
Depending on the Porsche type, the steering wheel is available with different hubs from different manufacturers (e.g.: MOMO or FP) and in various lengths. Suitable for all 911, 964, 993, and 914-6 models.
Important Notes
The steering wheel is designed for racing and visually resembles the original R/RSR/GT steering wheel from the 1970s. However, it has no serial number or marking and is therefore not approved for road use (WITHOUT TÜV and ABE!).
It comes pre-assembled. It must be partially disassembled for final assembly in the car. Both disassembly and subsequent assembly are very easy and largely correspond to the standard assembly of a sports steering wheel.
The Momo hubs are delivered without horn slip rings and contact pins. These parts must be taken from your original steering wheel or, if not available, purchased separately.
FP hubs are completely ready for assembly, including a horn slip ring, for the respective vehicle type.
